My Lonesome Dove,
The farther I run, the further I seem from my goal. Nay, I fear I know not what my goal is anymore.
I had once thought that I must end my sister. Then I had speculated on being her savior – yet again. But where she had threatened to kill me before, she helped save me and my companions at the Casa Del Diablo. Now I question whether I should be either her executioner or her saviour. I ponder the possibility of our both seeking the same thing, only by different paths and different means.
I had also thought that I must be the savior of the party I travel with – and then thought I must save them from themselves by ending them. Yet they seem to both save and end themselves as fate would have it so – as Farrin and D.P. survived the death of the salesman but Nico and Saloman did not. Now I ponder that perhaps I must simply facilitate them finding their own ends.
Am I here as a harbinger of fate? Or merely an observer? Perchance I am both?
Methinks I am nothing more than a rudderless ship, adrift on an endless and trackless sea, at the whim of the flotsam and jetsam that relentlessly strikes against my battered, weary hull.
I may never reconcile any of this or ever know the truth.
Jonah “Cuchulainn” Sterling
Are these times contagious
I’ve never been this bored before
Is this the prize I’ve waited for
Now as the hours passing
There’s nothing left here to insure
I long to find the messenger.
Have I got a long way to run
Have I got a long way to run
Yeah, I run
Is there a cure among us?
From this processed sanity?
I weaken with each voice that sings
In this world of purchase
I’m gonna buy back memories
To awaken some old qualities
Have I got a long way to run
Have I got a long way to run
Yeah, I run.
yeah, I run.
Have I got a long way?
Have I got a long way?
Have I got a long way to run?
Have I got a long way to run?
Yeah I run
(Have I got a long way to run?)
Yeah I run
(Have I got a long way to run?)
Yeah I run
(Have I got a long way to run?)
Yeah I run
(Have I got a long way to run?)
